Post-Ops need predigested protein supplementation

I have researched the protein supplementation controversy since before I had my surgery. I’ve heard surgeons and post-ops give argument to both sides of this issue; but a nagging thought kept at me… how is protein digested and are we digesting it from the food we eat (as post-ops).

I found a forum with a wonderfully informative lady named KimA. who explained it extremely well, so much so, there’s really not much room for argument. It’s not just her word on it, she gives the basic biology on protein digestion and how our new bodies function. So let there be no doubt, we need predigested protein supplementation as post-ops for the rest of our lives. The thread is available for public viewing here.
